If you had told me that after more than three decades in healthcare IT project management — leading complex initiatives, guiding teams through change, and keeping systems running smoothly in environments where precision truly matters — I would one day trade conference rooms and implementation timelines for dye pots, goat milk, and a studio full of color, I might have smiled and gone back to my project plan. Yet here I am, stepping into a chapter that feels both unexpected and beautifully aligned with the path God has been shaping all along.

For over 30 years, my work lived at the intersection of technology, healthcare, and people. I spent my days coordinating large projects, solving problems, and helping clinicians and staff do their work more effectively. It was meaningful, challenging, and deeply human work. But over time, a quiet tug began to grow — a whisper that there was something more I was meant to create. Something with my hands. Something that blended creativity, comfort, and faith.

The Graceful Goat Farm didn’t begin as a business plan. It began as a spark. A longing to make things that brought joy, beauty, and nourishment into everyday life. For years, I nurtured that spark in the margins — dyeing yarn after long days, stirring lotion batches on weekends, designing labels late at night. Each small act felt like a seed planted in hope.

Eventually, that whisper became unmistakable. After much prayer, reflection, and courage, I stepped away from the corporate world and into this calling full time. It was a leap — but one covered in peace.
